Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a POTENTIAL opportunity for a full-time Medical Logistics Supply Technician at Naval Medical Center Force in Portsmouth, VA.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in biomedical engineering technology required; Additional accepted education includes completion of the Department of Defense Biomedical Equipment Technician Course within the last 24 months
- At least 2 years of experience within the last 36 months required
Duties:
- Train and guide lower grade military employees
- Installs, inspects, and repairs biomedical equipment and support systems
- Advises staff on operations and safe clinical applications of biomedical equipment
- Provides technology management and equipment calibration support
- Assesses and evaluates the condition of the in-use medical equipment for maintenance, upgrade, or replace recommendations
Position Highlights:
- Full time
- Emphasis on work-life balance (No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements)
- Work will be accomplished in various departments of the medical treatment facility (satellite clinic, health, and wellness centers)
