Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales of complex technical products to new and existing customers while providing integral solutions for customers' needs.
  • Calculate and quote the sale of hot runner systems, complete hot halves, molds and maintenance repairs.
  • Verify and approve calculations and quotes issued from Sales Team.
  • Provide a long-term, added value, relationship to our customers through service, problem solving, startup and product training on-site and remotely.
  • Participate in customer design reviews, on-site and web-based.
  • Develop strategies that will increase customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate, daily, with the Inside Sales Team to update any developments relevant to the technical sales process, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Ensure that Regional Sales Managers are kept informed of any developments relevant to their customer accounts.
  • Ensure all orders received are entered into SAP (ERP System) accurately.
  • Develop and maintain a customer and prospect database.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions.
  • Provide technical presentations.
  • Provide monthly reporting including analysis of costs and sales.
  • Provide training and support material to the Sales Team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of customer service and engineering experience, preferably in the plastics industry.
  • Precision mold making design experience.
  • ERP/Manufacturing system experience preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in plastics engineering or related experience
