JOB DESCRIPTION

Please note that this is a hybrid position and can be based out of:

  • Camp Hill, PA
  • Rancho Cordova, CA
  • Alpharetta, GA

This job is responsible for providing complex analytical data gathering and research, interpretation, reporting, and policy/procedure development at the enterprise and divisional levels. Responsibilities include documenting, providing analysis of business impacts, developing case scenarios for new or enhanced systems, and analyzing, testing, and assisting in the implementation of workflow and process maps. This position provides recommendations for resolution of complex operational issues and assists in day-to-day system and user administration. Incumbent will also be responsible for the development and on-going maintenance of divisional/enterprise financial, costing, and productivity models.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides process improvement and project leadership for divisional and enterprise projects.
  • Acts as business system lead for divisional inventory of process maps and workflows, developing and deploying tactical solutions to solve business issues at both divisional and enterprise levels.
  • Participates in the development, documentation, and management of project plans including requirements gathering, design, risk analysis, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Transforms data into impactful business insights, strategy recommendations and implementation plans to improve key performance metrics for the business.
  • Gathers information from internal and external stakeholders to document business, process, functional, and/or data requirements.
  • As part of project plan design and management, performs dependency analysis, functional design review, workflow analysis, use case analysis, and data and process modeling.
  • Prepares and plans all aspects of the Requirements discipline, including controlling or participating in estimating, feasibility analysis, meeting facilitation, management, and executive reporting, change request management, issue tracking, and process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains divisional/enterprise financial, costing, and productivity models.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 or more years business analysis experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. High school diploma/GED required.
  • Business analysis experience in a center of excellence or consulting role, supporting large teams of business and executive management.
  • Healthcare or dental insurance experience.
  • Expert knowledge and experience with financial, process and data-driven structured analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate business processes and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Delta Dental products, policies, claims, eligibility, and guidelines.
  • Proficient in Metavance, Formworks, and Pega (Grievance and Appeals) with an understanding of the clinical space.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel and communicate clearly in a professional manner.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus but not required.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $74,000 - $170,900
