Aon is looking for an Institutional Investment Consultant

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Investment Consulting business group in Atlanta, GA.

IC Consultant is a client facing role withing Aon Investment's client service team. Client Service Team provides both advisory and OCIO investment consulting services to a wide variety of institutional investors.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • The IC Consultant uses technical, analytical, and communication skills to support senior members of client teams in the execution and production of all client deliverables
  • Produces/oversees the production of performance reports, investment manager searches, custodian searches, asset allocation studies, program reviews, setting of policy guidelines and objectives, and other ad hoc project-related documents
  • Works independently, has good problem-solving skills, and leads projects with minimal lead consultant guidance
  • Exhibits a keen attention to detail and ensures accurate and high-quality deliverables
  • Manages multiple/concurrent projects and deadlines
  • Reviews and finalizes work submitted by junior colleagues
  • Demonstrates ability to own a client's day to day deliverables
  • Mentors junior colleagues
  • Demonstrates ability to anticipate client needs and address in a proactive manner
  • Able to develop and exhibit subject matter expertise across broad investment issues
  • Able to develop client relationship management and presentation skills

Experience

  • 3+ years in an institutional consulting or asset management firm

Role-specific Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Outstanding technical and analytical skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of finance theory and investments
  • Advanced writing and communication skills

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant area (e.g., business, finance, economics)
  • Encouraged to be working toward relevant advanced degree and/or CFA and/or CAIA credential(s)

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $76,000 to $102,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Atlanta, GA. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
