We are currently seeking an Associate Business Analyst to support our Global FP&A organization, reporting to the Director of Finance. This is a unique hybrid role that will support both the commercial and corporate FP&A teams.

The Commercial FP&A aspect of the role will consist of serving as a financial partner to functions within the commercial organization including commercial operations, reimbursement, and strategic initiatives teams. The individual will be responsible for building budgets, reports, and analysis to help drive accountability of spend and activities through insightful analysis, forward thinking recommendations, and counseling in the development and implementation of the commercial teams' strategies and objectives.

The Corporate FP&A aspect of the role will involve assisting the finance organization with the management reporting system (BPC), providing support and guidance during reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. The individual will be the main point of contact between the finance users and our IT partners to document any system issues and lead remediation efforts. The individual will also be the point of contact for ad-hoc requests from other corporate functions including tax, treasury, and accounting.

The Associate Business Analyst will be a key member of the cross-functional team responsible for business and operations analysis, financial planning and reporting, and other financial, strategic, and tactical services.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the quarterly forecast and annual budget process for the Commercial support functions
  • Effectively communicate financial performance across the organization
  • Support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate results
  • Enhance operating expense visibility and bring accountability to spending activities with budget owners
  • Work with the Director to evaluate internal and external strategic opportunities
  • Assist with our management reporting system (train new users, setup forecast and budget scenarios, document and work with our IT partners for remediation and improvement)
  • Assist and lead special ad hoc projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance or analysis role
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or other related field
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks, work under strict deadlines, and prioritize effectively to complete requests in a timely manner
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills to deliver effective, confident, and results-oriented communications and presentations, including to senior executives
  • Broad understanding of finance, economics, business management, business/strategic planning
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to build financial models, reports, tools
  • Self-starter/ ability to work independently

Preferred:

  • MBA
  • SAP, BPC, and Power BI experience
  • Prior knowledge, exposure, or general interest in medical device industry
