Job Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in SharePoint Online and 2 years in Modern Sites technology
  • HTML experience
  • Understanding of the digital landscape and trends
  • Be able to navigate a highly matrixed, complex organization, develop strong peer relationships, and challenge the status quo while driving alignment
  • Be highly responsible, team-oriented, collaborative
  • Bring creativity, innovation, industry knowledge, and team priorities to every assignment and be able to identify opportunities to use data to improve our work
  • Ability to readily adjust to changing workload and priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with Corporate Communications, Marketing, or Internal Communications
  • Adobe Analytics and Workfront experience
  • SharePoint Search optimization

OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Client's Corporate Communications team is seeking a Platforms Operations Specialist who is exceptional at working with Microsoft products, especially Modern Sites technology. This person will be interested in site presentation and governance and will support the development of multiple site and page updates across Client's intranet. As part of the Platforms & Content Strategy team, the work will align with overall team priorities while balancing what's needed by the site owners and authors. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Communications Platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work across departments to understand requirements and goals for the sites being migrated to new technology
  • Provide recommendations on how to best present their content
  • Create and refresh pages based on requirements and content shared
  • Support Site Owner and author requests with troubleshooting, adding web parts, arranging layouts based on governance and general content updates
  • Collaborate daily with team members to ensure alignment across site projects
  • Collaborate with IT partners on related efforts like troubleshooting
  • Support testing of new or updated platform-related technologies
  • Project and task management
