As the Knowledge Transfer Strategist for FORVIS WNTO you will have the opportunity to increase recognition of the FORVIS brand as a national thought leader. Members of WNTO have a deep understanding of tax issues and proactively follow evolving legislation, guidance, and case law. As the Knowledge Transfer Strategist you will collaborate with other members of the WNTO, and the broader FORVIS team, to produce timely, relevant and insightful tax content and develop a distribution strategy based on creating valuable connection points with FORVIS clients and the market place.

How you will contribute:

  • Developing and implementing the FORVIS tax thought leadership strategy
  • Driving creation of valuable knowledge share content from insights and analysis on evolving legislation, guidance and case law identified by other WNTO members and the broader tax practice
  • Building the FORVIS network of key relationships internal and external
  • Converting the tax insights and observations of WNTO members into valuable connection points
  • Supporting communications and marketing around new service offerings
  • Communicating tax strategies and solutions to non-tax service lines
  • Providing guidance regarding what knowledge to share, the extent of sharing, with whom to share, and the optimal platforms for sharing
  • Making FORVIS people famous for the thought leadership they provide

We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and clearly communicate complex and evolving tax issues to the marketplace
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to get things done
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated aptitude for building relationships and creating valuable connection points
  • Proficiency in design thinking and top-down thinking
  • Strong understanding of communication channels and frameworks
  • Continuous learning and a commitment to excellence
  • Passion for serving and developing others

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation or Juris Doctor
  • 10 or more years of experience working with a large accounting firm, law firm, relevant tax policy making entity or a publisher of technical materials in the areas of law and taxation
  • Experience authoring and/or editing articles on accounting, finance or tax issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA license and/or J.D. / L.L.M
