HX5 is currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Support professional to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Automatic Test Systems Division (AFLCMC/WNA) at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support, analysis, and risk management for test systems used on USAF aircraft/weapon systems.
  • Assist in technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation and cost and risk analysis for systems, subsystems, and support equipment
  • Define system requirements, review vendor designs and technical proposals, research and develop technical solutions, perform functional analysis
  • Conduct trade studies and technical reviews as well as perform test and evaluation activities
  • Aid in creating engineering documentation and electrical engineering analyses
  • Assist in identifying, managing and mitigating technical and program architecture risks, including interoperability analysis and risk assessment
  • Use electrical engineering principles to determine Mission Partner business and technical needs in acquisition, development or sustainment of weapon systems, subsystems, and support equipment

Education and Experience:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD
  • OR ... Bachelor's Degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD
  • OR ... 15 years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
  • Must be able to travel, including air travel.
