We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (certified physician assistant or advanced registered nurse practitioner) to provide comprehensive care to patients with survivors of head and neck malignancies in the outpatient clinic at the Fred Hutch South Lake Union Campus.

Once chosen, you will join a group of more than 200 NPs and PAs across the Fred Hutch practice areas. We are an APP led service that works closely with our physician and nursing colleagues to deliver holistic, collaborative, and compassionate cancer care to our patients and their families. Fred Hutch APPs work at the highest level of their scope of practice.

Typical hours are 8-10 hour days in the outpatient setting Monday through Friday with an option to transition to a 4-day work week after 6 to 12 months depending on prior experience.

You Will

  • Perform complex and problem-focused history and physicals for survivors of Head and Neck Malignancies.
  • Evaluate and manage post-treatment side effects as well as long term surveillance and survivorship issues.
  • See patients independently and formulate patient centered plans of care under the supervision of an attending physician.
  • Consult and collaborate with specialty services and peers as needed.
  • Triage patients and determine disposition of care.
  • Perform procedures according to licensure, credentialing, and scope of practice.
  • Provide patient, caregiver, and peer education.
  • Attend multidisciplinary tumor boards and team meetings.
  • Participate in the Fred Hutch Rapid Response team.
Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant training program or Nurse Practitioner program and be able to practice in the state of Washington (licensed).
  • ARNP or PA-C experience in Medical Oncology is preferred.
  • Washington state licensure required
  • DEA licensure required upon credentialing
  • ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire
  • EMR experience is preferred; prefer experience with Epic.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $120,868.80 to $191,027.20 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
