As a Marketing Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing team and will play a key role in enhancing our brand's presence and engagement across various platforms. This role may also involve supporting a variety of other marketing initiatives to contribute to our overall strategy.


Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will work with a Marketing team of 19, located in Calabasas Hills, CA, supporting the Marketing function for a $3.4 billion public company with over 300 restaurants and more than 47,500 staff members.

Here's more of what you'll get to do:

  • Collaborate with Sr. Marketing Manager and agency partners to develop and manage our social media profiles, organic presence and paid media strategy on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and potentially additional channels.
  • Research and provide a POV on exciting new social trends, with a focus on optimization for each of our social channels to maximize our brand's visibility online.
  • Generate new ideas for social media posts and content.
  • Keep a pulse on emerging platforms that offer new ways for the brand to maintain a modern, relevant presence in culture, and present to the marketing team on a quarterly basis.
  • Review and approve international social content calendars.
  • Manage all influencer campaigns utilizing agency partners including researching influencers, strategy development, content coordination and approvals, and analyzing performance
  • Partner closely with 3rd party marketing teams to ensure consistent and collaborative campaigns.
  • Analyze performance of social content to provide insights into future content and copy strategy.
  • Support the Sr. Marketing Manager with inter-departmental projects and communication to ensure campaign alignment and strategy execution.
  • Ensure all campaigns and projects are organized.
  • Assist in developing and executing local restaurant marketing plans.
  • Assist in various marketing projects to help reach the company's marketing goals and objectives.

What we require:

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Communications or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience leveraging social media, digital marketing, and/or traditional marketing media methods.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with various social media channels and traditional marketing tactics.
  • Ability to effectively interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Advanced organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills and extreme attention to detail.
